We have officially started this year`s workshop!
We are developing ,here on the ground in Barcelona, a Resilient Strategy Proposal for the Ciutadella Park and the UPF Campus in the light of the guidelines of the Mercat del Peix.
During this first week of four, we are analysing the site and brainstorming the first ideas, helped by great guests who are enlightening the process bringing their experience and knowledge on the topic and discussing with us the latest studied strategies and solutions implemented.
Today we had the honour of having our first guest Özlem Altınkaya Genel, TU Delft, speaking of “Campus of the future: managing a matter of solid, liquid, and gas” a lecture based on the vision and strategies that Delft University of Technology’s campus research team has developed since the early 2000’s.
During the presentation, she has been through how campus-city relations have transformed over time, moving on three campus models and 14 campus themes that the research team in Delft utilises to explore future trends.
We want to thank her a lot to have being with us and for the compelling insights she shared with us.
