Our sessions on Resilience Theory taught by our director Lorenzo Chelleri have come to an end today. Students have been guided through the multi-disciplinary framing of urban resilience discussing how resilience is framed and applied, addressing synergies and conflict points between generic and specific resilience.
As a concluding session students have presented city resilience strategies framed under the 100 Resilient Cities program of The Rockefeller Foundation , from 2016 to 2020, and reflected on the gaps between theories and practice.
These first two weeks have been very energetic and served as a base knowledge for the rest of the program which from what we witnessed from the first reactions is looking really promising!
